I know I need reminders — all the time, especially to stay on purpose or to ease back into the harmonious quality I want to have in my life.  Today, Napkinwriter is sharing a Loving Reminder written by her friend, Betty Lue Lieber. The reminder to bless.

August 30, 2011 Loving Reminders

What is our world coming to?
Look closer and you will see, we are waiting for you!

Your blessings are needed now.
Not your cursing and condemnation.
Not your fear and victimization
Not your anger and your pain.
Not your wish to be gone.

Your blessings are needed now.
Benefit you and everyone.
Give what you have and enjoy the fun.
Laugh at your fears and enjoy your gain.
See life as it is without comparison.

Everyday blessings are needed.
Get in the habit.
Bless your food, your water.
Bless the air you breathe,
Bless your home and where you rest at night.
Bless your family and your friends as they are.
Bless your expenses and your income, every penny.
Bless the love and appreciation you give and receive.
Bless the sun and the light, the moon and the night.
Bless everything you see and you will see differently.

Bless everyone and everything, and what is revealed are the blessings you give.
Bless the world you see and you will see the world differently.
Your blessings transform your thoughts, your words, your perceptions.
Miracles of healing and transformation come from the creative power of love.

Condemn no one and you will stop condemning yourself.
Judge not one and you will open your heart to create healing with your love.
Clear your own fear and drama and you will free to world to know more peace.
Forgive your negative thinking, hateful words and destructive habits.

It is our own work that frees our world.
It is our own inner world to cleanse and transform.
It is our mind to open to revealing delight.
It is our heart to heal with love shining bright.

Each one of us has our own work to do.
To change all bad habits into something true.
When we have awakened from our own bad dreams,
We will live and love and give our best to all.

Give your blessing, and you will see it is You who are blessed!
Betty Lue

5. Acknowledge all my wins each and every day.
6. Create and maintain an environment that nurtures me.
7.  See problems as opportunities to learn from rather than as obstacles to avoid.
8.  Tell the whole truth on a moment to moment basis in order to maintain impeccable and loving relationships.
9. Be conscious every moment to put positive thoughts into my mind rather than negative, knowing all thoughts are creative.
10.  Appreciate my feelings as a means of understanding myself, thus directing and creating my reality.
11. Continue to forgive myself and others as a means of creating a state of Grace.
12. Fill my life with joy and ecstasy by practicing daily the art and skill of verbally expressing my gratitude for all that I have.

My Writing Blessing
By Susan H. Hajec (Sept. 1, 2011)
Truth Seeker, Peace Maker, Love Giver

May I wake to each new dawn, alive and alert, with gratitude that this is the Day the Lord hast made.

May I rejoice in the Presence of the Divine. May the angels be leaders of light and joy today on my writer’s path.

May my writing flow from my loving heart. And may these writing increase love and inspiration in the world through countless readers who are led to them.

May the light of my soul infuse my writings with the power of Truth, Peace and Love.

May this light reflect the beauty of my own soul to attract and reflect the light of others.

May this light become an impassioned and unquenchable flame within me. May it attract like a magnet all good and prosperity in my personal life.

May this writer know that she is daily provided for in the grand plan of life and that she doesn’t control that plan.

May this writer sense the possibility and potential that surround her and engulf her this very day.  May she serve her world through careful writing and reflection.

May I go into the night, humble, gracious and fulfilled.

May my writer’s soul always renew and companion me in grace to the next word to be written.  Amen.

(some inspiration of the pattern of this blessing, provided by John O’Donohue’s “A Blessing” in Anam Cara, page 160)
